Welcome
CONFIDENT WOMEN is a video and web documentary project profiling and featuring professional and college educated women from diverse backgrounds. So much has been written and said in the press about the unemployed, however little has been done to show how professional women over 35 are handling their unemployment or underemployment.
As women, who share a common bound, they’ll also discuss the impact on their lives…from loss of power — economically and socially — to networking for their next job and their overall confidence.
Faced with personal and professional challenges and obstacles, these women are facing these challenges due to the economic downturn and are in the mist of climbing out.
Our hope is that Confident Women will serve as a snapshot for unemployed women across America, and bring light to the issue of unemployment and underemployment on women, their families and communities.
We look forward to hearing your thoughts and opinions.
